This unit of competency provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. The student must be over 14 years of age or have written parental/guardian consent to attend. Two (2) hours of practical training including practical assessment is required for this unit. CPR is valid for 1 year. We email a 12 months reminder letter annually.
The Oxygen component of this course trains participants in the provision of resuscitation techniques and management of casualty(s), until the arrival of medical or other assistance using Oxygen therapy techniques. This is a three (3) hour course.
The cost of CPR and Oxygen is $80.
