This unit of competency provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

Accredited Training Company provides both New and Refresher Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) HLTAID001 courses for $50. Both the New and Refresher courses consist of two hours of practical training, and the New course also includes a take home workbook which must be completed and returned to the office.

Asthma and Anaphylaxis training may be added on to a CPR course for an additional $40.

Students must be over 14 years of age to obtain a CPR qualification. The qualification is valid for 1 year. An annual reminder letter will be emailed.

Accredited Training Company also offers Provide Advanced Resuscitation Techniques courses (HLTAID007).

The Provide Advanced Resuscitation Techniques course trains participants in the provision of advanced First Aid resuscitation techniques, life support, and management of casualty(s), until the arrival of medical or other assistance, as well as the provision of support to other First Aid providers. This is a four (4) hour course and includes the use of Oxygen (O2) equipment. The cost of Advanced Resuscitation is $90.
